Nutting's Flycatcher
Bill Williams NWR
January 23, 2014
This morning the flycatcher was cooperative and I got some pretty good shots!
This is a very rare bird in the United States.

Very similar to the Ash-throated Flycatcher, but identified by the "wheep" call and the slightly
smaller size, yellower belly, and lack of a dark band on the bottom of the tail, underside.

Yellow belly

No dark band on the tip of the tail.
