Another Trip into the Cabeza Prieta NWR
February 1, 2014

I took the long, rough road (El Camino del Diablo, Devil's Highway) again, hoping to find the LeConte's Thrasher this time. And I did.
I had a good thrasher day, finding LeConte's, Crissal and Sage; and getting some photos of all. The LeConte's Thrasher photos aren't
much better than the ones I got last year, these are tough birds to find, let alone get a good photo. They are very wary, these photos are large crops.

Crissal Thrasher, it was chasing the LeConte's Thrashers

Harris's Hawk (terrible photo, there were three of them)

Sage Thrasher

Desert Horned Lizard (Phrynosoma platyrhinos) It is just a little one.
