Astrophotography with my new Losmandy G-11 mount
Near Ajo, AZ
November 24, 2016

This is the Monster. A Losmandy G-11. I did not buy the Gemini go-to
version, it just costs too much and I like finding my own targets anyway.
This mount will support up to 60 lbs. of lens, telescopes and cameras.
So, if I decide to go for a bigger scope someday, it will hold it.

This is M-78, a reflection nebula in the constellation Orion. The darker areas
are clouds of interstellar dust. In the lower left is a portion of Barnard's Loop.

The Fireworks Galaxy (NGC 6946) and and open star cluster called NGC 6939, located
near the constellation Cepheus. This is a very faint and small galaxy, hard to find.
