Some New Photos
March 17, 2016

Finally, everything worked. This is Markarian's Chain, in the Virgo Galaxy Cluster. I have a hard time just finding it and then the last time I did, the photos would not stack in Deep Sky Stacker. Last night it worked out. There are a lot of small faint galaxies in the full resolution image that don't show up well here, but I think there are probably over 30 galaxies in this photo. Uncropped, just resized. 500mm, ISO 1600, f4.5, 19 images stacked in Deep Sky Stacker.

This is the Antares region again, this time at 100mm focal length. I took 30 one minute exposures and stacked them. I am very happy with the result. This area is known as the Rho Ophiuchus nebula complex. Uncropped, just resized.
