Some Astro and Bird photos, two days before the total solar eclipse.

This may be one of my favorite Pygmy Nuthatch photos of all time. I like the angle, background, and the perch.

I was following a flock of birds and pishing. Sometimes pishing really works well, this time it did.

A Black-capped Chickadee coming to pishing.

The Pelican Nebula. This is the first time I've tried it at 500mm. Doesn't look like a Pelican to me.
It is located in the constellation Cygnus, near the North America Nebula.

M13, the Great Cluster in Hercules. This is probably my best yet, stars are well focussed.
The small galaxy in the upper right looks pretty good too.

This time of year, there isn't much to shoot at that I haven't already shot. So I did this again.
The Great Andromeda Galaxy, one of my favorites. After midnight some good targets were rising in the east, but I was too tired to stay up and wait for them.
